WALTER VAN BEIRENDONCK

for chp…? launched in paris

On January 20th 2016, Walter Van Beirendonck for chp…? was launched during Menswear Fashion Week in Paris. The Belgian fashion designer used an industrial squat in central Paris as the backdrop for ‘WOEST’ (Dutch for furious), his Fall 2016 menswear collection. As part of the collection, he designed ear plates and brass charms that have been developed and produced in cooperation with chp…? jewelry. The ear plates, inspired by traditional costumes from the Dutch region of Zeeland, are produced by Pauline Barendse of studio Dubbelop (Schoonhoven). The charms, that  during the fashion show were draped around the models’ heads with small jewelry chains, are 3D printed in polished brass. Some of the charms are also produced in an enlarged shape and can be worn as a pendant on a necklace.
